1. Scroll to the bottom of your inbox …
Then click on the area I have in the red box at the bottom of the page – your storage usage bar – click Launch .

3. Free up space in your trash, Review / Delete your own suggested items that might look like this:
• Files in Trash
• Emails in Trash
Note: If you don’t haveanything in your trash, you won’t be able to open these menus.
• Large files
• Emails with large attachments
4. When you click the Emails with large attachments option, selet the biggest offenders but be sure to download and archive anything you are not ready to delete.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This will permanently delete emails AND their attachment files. Deleted items from this storage manager menu CANNOT be recovered.
*If you want to preserve the emailed text WITHOUT the attachment, forward a copy to yourself – with the attachments removed – and change the subject to something like
“original-subject-title–archive“

5a. After completing steps 1-4, if you still have too much usage, then go back to your email landing page – click the sliders within the search bar at the top.
5b. Then do a search for emails containing attachments larger than 5 or 10 MB, you can also add a time range, for example emails within “1 year” of “2020” and start deleting the oldest and largest emails year by year.
Don’t forget to empty from your trash when you’re done, otherwise it takes 30 days for the trash to empty.
